... so here it is. Starting things off by setting rather high expectations and featuring this song, but what else can I do when I am still coming back to this album and song nearly every week since its first release?Probably one of the most comprehensive and complicated pieces of musical art I've come across. This is, of course, to be taken with a grain of salt since I really haven't gone any particular route as far as musical taste. I guess in that respect I could use some salt. But I prefer to leave the appetite wanting... I'm still trying to pin down a genre that defines me.If the Mars Volta had gone the way I wanted them to, we'd be hearing a lot more like Roulette Dares, but instead... well, you know the history as well as I if you're reading this. Still, this album will have a place with me for a long time to come. Even as I experiment with Norah Jones to fill my lack of definition.[Now go listen to 'Drunkship of Lanterns' to complete the experience!]

Welcome to this big ol' fam Sikke, another hand on deck! Like Augusts up there, I've somehow avoided The Mars Volta, despite numerous recommendations...this track is very Muse-ish (less some of their angst), so hits a nice spot...thanks!
