Why I love the Boss

The Best Bassists?

Listening to Birdland, and thinking about how amazing Jaco Pastorius' bass playing sounds. This got me thinking about who i would consider in the best bassists ever. I personally would probably include Rick Danko of The Band, Roger Waters, the Jam's Bruce Foxton and Ben Folds Five's Robert Sledge, however I'd be interested to hear other suggestions

Sam's Town seems not only to be a brilliant but is it one of the few good concept albums of the 21st century?? tbh i can only think of a few others that would come under the title of concept album( The Streets' A Grand Don't Come For Free immediately springs to mind) but this seems to be a solid, well put together set of songs, all seemingly linked with the workings of this casino
