Wow. Several months ago, I bought my first Sigur Ros album, and I truly believe there is no better album out there for me. Every time I hear them, I'm thrown into a dream world. They fit my every mood. Whether I'm happy or sad... Any one song by them could fit any and (almost) all of my various moods. I don't even understand what he's saying, but that's the beauty in it, for me. A lot of the songs that the singer writes are in a language he himself made up, so no one can understand them, but so many people still agree on the pure beauty of all of it.Oh! While I'm on the subject... After asking all of you fellow MOGgers to help me with a play list for my yoga class, I figured it out. And yes, it was Sigur Ros. I can't even remember which songs they were, because my instructor liked it so much that she wanted to keep the CD. It was just a burned copy, so I let her have it. At the end of the semester, we had a make-up day, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear her play the CD again that day.Music is such a great thing. A connector, a communicator, even just something pretty. I can't help but be taken away by it sometimes.
