Today, I was playing on youtube and was SHOCKED to hear a song by Amel Larrieux I had NEVER heard.

This is interesting because I had heard some other songs by Amel this year that I was unaware of and I am now at the point of wanting to dig dig and find other things that she has recorded. Makes me wonder who is releasing this unrealeased material for I want to thank you from the botom of my heart for allowing all of us Amel appreciators to enjoy Amel at all times. (Yes, I am a complete NUT for her music. It is her voice that drives me mad then her lyrics - wowza, I am now really seeing what a genius this young lady is with her words. Honestly, I think Amel is definitely a hidden treasure that the world needs to embrace. I literally salivate to read her words and to hear her voice. Thank you, Amel!)
Then I see over at last.fm that there are quite a few listeners of the song which I was totally ignorant about although I am on last.fm playing Amel's music A LOT.

By the way, I found out through ASCAP that Amel and her husband wrote the song!

@tigand if you have the opportunity, make sure you join www.blisslife.com or even add amel as a friend on www.myspace.com/bravebird2 She's very friendly! I had the opportunity to meet her in August. She was such a dear to all her fans! I was surprised she even recognized me while I was sitting in the audience and she sang to me. I almost died! AHHHHHHHHH
I hadnt heard anything about Amel in a long time... good lookin out with the update.
