Surprised you weren't at that performance Jennifer! Great job on the cover, love the original too. He has such a pristine falsetto!

@augusts1 I had NO clue the dude was performing and I am SHOCKED he went *stealth* as my friend said. I mean he needs to stop being so undercover and let us know! Thanks, Augusts1 for the love! [[[hugz]]

He's obviously pretty damn good at being stealth, haha, especially to get under your radar! (((((((Jennifer))))))))))

@augusts1 - you know what is wild? Why is he performing in Nebraska in October? I don't get this. I am looking at this listing from Ticketmaster?!

    http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0600410EA67C6D97?artistid=778926&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=20

I am happy for him but I am just a little perplexed why not a major city in the USA or better yet why is he not going to London which is like the music capitol of the world? I am just a little lost on his schedule but hey you have to go with the flow! Thank you for reading and appreciating Maxwell!

He definitely is stealth but I don't hate on it but I would like to know when he is going to be in a city near me because I don't listen to the radio and he did not update his myspace page on this so I am a little confused on this!

Nebraska is the new LA, I hear.  Perhaps Maxwell and D'Angelo can go on a Long Lost Love tour! I bet they could put a few fannies in the seats.

@CodyB - really? Ha ha. I know both of them have been MIA - Maxwell & D'Angelo. Love the tour name - Long Lost Tour. An entire generation of babies may be born if this happens! =P Thank you for the smiles!

@ivylander well life can be hard for some artists. I think some of this kids need to realize they need to have some normalcy if they even have that in terms of friends who accept them for them which is hard. I am saying this about D'Angelo after reading this article in Spin here:

    http://www6.mygazines.com/articles/view/25566/D-ANGELO--from--Spin-August-2008-CAN-USA

The article even gives a small discussion on Maxwell too and why he has been absent. I thought it was all Maxwell's record label not releasing his new album but it seems as though Maxwell has had his hand in deciding when an album would be released. I think I get him though for why he did it. Super critical of himself. Totally understand that. Terrible trait of perfectionists for I happen to be exactly the same where I have held off almost 10 years in sharing an article i wrote 10 years ago about an art issue. I need to be shot! =)
