There comes a time when you wonder why young and talented individuals die soon? God is calling them home for a reason
Yesterday Bernie Mac passed and now soul man Issac Hayes is with the angels.
I remembered Issac Hayes as creating the SHAFT sound which the character was played by Richard Roundtree in the movie!
[that is Jesse Jackson YELLING at the beginning!
I even teased Isaac Hayes at my friend's wedding and he danced with me. He was a really nice dude just to reach out to me then. But I was not like" oh wow it's Issac Hayes." I wanted to know if the man could flow and dance, and he still could in 2002!

Isaac Hayes has a movie coming out in October titled **Soul Man**. Co-starring **Bernie Mac.**
No way =( Dang, call this the worst weekend to lose them both. God neded them home. Soul Man?! Is this a re-make of this film here but hen I dunno http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091991/ I saw this film. It actually was hilarious although some people had issues with it but I understood it clearly. I was a pre-teen when it came out.

Remember when Aaliyah died and her brother had to do some voice over work on her vocals. That was sad =(.

His movie and cartoon career notwithstanding, Isaac Hayes was one of the most important pop musicians/songwriters of the past 1/2 century. A lot of great tunes written and an individual,highly influential sound. RIP.

"Chef" is no longer with us? Boy the cosmos is stirring up the shit! Sorry to hear it, he will be missed. I adored "South Park" with him in it as well as his musical legacy. That's a great muppet sketch too Jennifer! Thanks for letting us know about Isaac's passing. Cool you got to meet him too!
