Singer Amel Larrieux UPDATED her website!

As a huge supporter of Amel Larrieux, I did my typical thing which I do everyday which is to to go to her website. When I did today, I was shocked out of my mind.
The nest got a serious face lift.
She did a full blown interactive website where users can still participate with the community boards but she is accepting video messages from her fans. I was like WHAT? Amel knows people love her that much so I am so glad she decided to take this jump.
Further she is allowing artists to have BLOGS on her website and I think she has done this because so many artists such as Kaysha and those within her blisslife.com community have shared how much Amel has influenced them. This is what I appreciate about Amel is that she has a heart and she is not selfish in sharing what God has given her. What a true teacher and humble heart.
So if you are not hip to Amel, get with it.

I'm so happy to see this for I will be attending one of Amel's concerts in NYC in August. I see her now once a year or twice a year when she performs. I missed her Valentine's Day Show in February 2008 so I sure need to make up with her show in August!

@oceanrain - you will adore Amel. I have been following her career since she was with a neo-soul group called, Groove Theory, but then she went solo in 2000. Her voice is unbelievable. I have had the pleasure of seeing her live twice. I am excited to see her again in August 2008 for my annual Amel Larrieux concert. I told her as long as she is singing and she comes to NYC that I will go see her. She is worth it! I hope she makes it to your town one day!
