Sean Bell - 50 bullets? For what..

Posted about 4 years ago
Though I failed to share my views here on MOG about the Sean Bell case, I have tried to share my views on a lot of what I see in the world as an African American female living in the USA.Here is a cross post of a post I made on my main blog about Sean Bell the day the decision came out.I am upset more at the judicial system for as I am trained as a lawyer, I see and experience with my own eyes the systematic problems in the USA with our judicial system. My own mother is the second black woman to pass the Florida bar in 1965 and she even says how the judicial system has not changed in her 40 plus years of practice. If you do not mind me sharing my reaction to the Sean Bell case, here you go:I May Get Shot 40 Times and the New York Police Department will Get Away With Ithttp://peaurl.com/lUfI[Music I am thinking about is Miri Ben-Ari's Symphony of Brotherhood]

  4. Bartleby says NYPD seems to have a knack for coming up with such retinue. 50 bullets fired and yet as far as I know, no review of practice, no commission appointed for further understanding of how such "incidents." I think if bullets are priced at $50 or better yet $3000 per unit then people would think more before firing. -- One idea would be making police officers pay for those bullets.
