    SerenityLife,

You know, you have the sharpest ears I have ever experienced on the internet! If you had your own DJ show, there would be literally hundreds listening in just to hear gems like this one! Although my Italian is limited to operatic Italian, you are right on the money!

The late classical record producer Richard Mohr told the story of his first recording sessions in Rome where when confronted with the price of his meal, replied "Voi lo sapete?" and stopped there with the the waitor waiting for the next thing Mohr was going to say. A friend had to explain to Mohr that "we don't speak in Italian opera!" Well, it was funny when Mohr told that story to an audience!

    Keep up the great work!

    Yours very truly,

    musikfriend

@musikfriend - I'm humbled! I'm not that great with identifying songs but I listened to the radio so much when I was younger that I know some of the popular songs from the 1980s so when I hear these beats in any fashion, I wonder if it is from my years of pop culture obsession.

I heard the song on the radio on last.fm and found the youtube video and even others made the same comment so I know it was not just me! I've been trying to find information about the singer, "Lisa" but since there are about 6 recording artists with the name "Lisa" it's been hard trying to find it but I wil.

Ha - see how Italian opera is beneficial. I know this has no relation but my mom had a friend who was Chinese and when she came to america she only knew how to say, "hot dog." That was the only English words she knew!! The story you share is so cute.

    Thank you for reading, musikfriend!
