I submit that from time to time it becomes almost a physical, and certainly a psychological, necessity to revisit the Majesty and Grandeur that is _The Wall_. And in my wine-soaked enthusiasm I am compelled to ask: "Where does the signature guitar lick from _Comfortably Numb_ rank in the Pantheon of Signature Guitar Licks?"

    nordico says Re; The Pantheon of Guitar Licks, it's difficult to say... but in terms of a guitar tone creating a complete living, breathing atmosphere, that one is the greatest! I saw Gilmour twice during his recent tour, and he closed with "Comfortably Numb." That final solo is the most incredible thing I've ever heard. Almost three-dimensional! Nobody else can do that.
