i was browsing through some old cds the other day when i came across "you forgot it in people" by broken social scene: one of my favorite cds ever. the tracks are so fun and fluid that you just cant resist. "pacific theme" is the perfect music to listen to while doing anything. so very relaxing, along with "looks just like the sun". "capture the flag" is such a beautiful opening of shimmering noise. while "almost crimes" and "stars and sons" supply the meat for this awesome indie music sandwich of sound. and when your done consuming that sandwich, you enjoy that nice little after-meal nap to the tunes of "im still your fag" and "lovers spit". and as for "anthems for a seventeen year old girl", well, that came way out of left field.
