MOG MOG

WHERE E=MC HAMMER

She made a sarcastic comment about me liking upbeat music on my last post...I can't have her going around ruining my hard earned reputation!

So I present the saddest song I know...some call this depressing, I call it beautiful

_listens to song_ Yep, I'm about ready for my Cyanide tablet now.

And I wasn't being sarcastic, man- if you decide to check into Wonderland or wherever, just send me the bill. The closer I can get to you naming, like Junior Senior as your favorite artist, the happier I'll become.

But then again Bonnie could take the prize for worst androgynous name. Are you having an androgynous named artist night tonight, heh?

This is a beautiful song if you don't pay attention to the lyrics.

Britt, I love Junior Senior, seriously! They've been burned on my puter for at least a month. So danceable!

It is now my life's goal to bring Blair over to our side, Augusts1, where life is... well, not grim as f__k. And I finally get a post by Blair in my (dis)honor and it's borne out of spite- figures ;)

Now, the question is, do I post the Junior Senior Youtube video here, or make a post of my own?...

Great, now I’ve got the soundtrack for when I’m sitting at the formica and aluminum kitchen table beneath the bare light bulb at 3am with a half-empty bottle of Jack and a fully loaded Smith & Wesson .45 in front of me.

You should hear the version of this song that BPB did for the At Home With the Groovebox "tribute" album in 2000 (see what a Groovebox is here). The arrangement brings a bit of hilarity to the proceedings (there it's officially called "Today I Started Celebrating Again").

Btw, I would have picked "I See a Darkness," "Another Day Full of Dread," and "Death to Everyone" as even more depressing, as well as some Nick Drake stuff and the Mark Lanegan lines "I drink so much sour whiskey I can hardly see" . . . "And you can't/ Can't get it down without crying" ("One Way Street"). I mean, that's what I think about when I wake up on the floor spooning my friend Jack Daniels after a late night chat with him.
