WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Hell = other people

Posted over 2 years ago
I try my best to be very tolerant of other peoples likes and dislikes, in all aspects of life. But this is very hard to do in Columbus Ohio. I just made a quick trip to run some errands and in the 2 miles I drove I saw not one but 2 cars with GIGANTIC Nike swooshes covering up their entire back windshields. Meh...so not cool. So not cutting edge. So mind numbingly Ohio-ish. The kids today.....

  3. Dale says I think I'd prefer the Nike swoosh to the decals of Calvin peeing on a Chevrolet (or other) logo, or praying to a cross. (shudders)

  4. SatisfiedMind614 says oh, all Calvin stickers make so mad....a popular spin on that classic here is Calvin peeing on a University of Michigan logo...why someone would EVER slap one of those stickers on the cars, ON PURPOSE, eludes me

  8. chucky says My vote would be for the "my super duper kid...." variety of bumper stickers. Usually they say their kid is an honor student but I saw one last week that just said that their kid was a great kid at XYZ School. How sad.

  10. SatisfiedMind614 says I think the sunshine and the ocean will take some of the sting out of that Mistee....at least I am hoping....its hard to cope with this stuff in Ohio...not many distractions!

  11. kaleef says oh man, not cool at all. you know what else isn't cool b? suped-up 1983 ford pick-ups with enormously large confederate flags placed, well, anywhere and everywhere really. on the hood, behind the gun rack, on the antenna, stapled to a 2x4 breezing in the wind... oh the dirty south...

  12. SatisfiedMind614 says K...that is equal parts funny/scary/sad. My brother just moved back to C-bus from the ATL...he liked Atlanta MUCH more than Columbus but did tell me that there is a small percentage of the population down there that are still fighting the Civil War...wow.
