Everybody's gotta learn sometime

Tonight's bohemian lullaby is brought to you by Beck and the brilliant movie 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind'That movie means so much to me. Every time I watch it I am reminded that everyone I have ever had a relationship with, either as a friend or a significant other, has left an impression on me. And no matter how badly some of these relationships ended, I would NEVER 'erase' the memories of those days we spent together. The great times and the life experience garnered far outweighs the heartache and bitterness you may feel.If my horrendous 2006 taught me anything its that everything happens for a reason, believe it or not. And sometimes opportunity is cloaked in tragedy...and when these fleeting moments of opportunity reveal themselves, you have to bust through and take your shot...or you will wonder 'what if' for the rest of your life...and I can't imagine a worse fate.Dream big or don't dream at all...

Beck stuck pretty much to the original version from The Korgis circa 1980. Wonderful film and a great soundtrack except the previews gave me the impression that "Mr. Blue Sky" figured into the film's soundtrack. I wish film studios and their marketing departments would quit using music in their ads that aren't in the motion picture.
Any film score from Jon Brion is going to make a wonderful cinematic experience.
