    B-Sides [PA] [Digipak]
  • Track:
The Professor & La Fille Danse - (live, live at cornucopia)
I will be spending tonight lounging on the grass listening to Damien Rice...the show is in a really cool outdoor venue downtown, so I am looking forward to just relaxing and looking up at the stars while the good music just fills up the night sky...a great way to end a long weekend...

  1. five-four says O was amazing. The B-sides and his latest album ruined the experience for me ( and a significant other). The Fuck word just doesn't do it for me ever since I graduated from HS. His live shows are excellent though.

  2. Lizziegreeneyes says I adore the song Rootless Tree ... it's a great angry tune when I'm all kinds of ticked or frustrated ! Then again - I have the mouth of a sailor ... blair - have the BEST time for me nkay !!! Give them all a big smoocheroo for me (you can blow them away whilst enjoying the nightsky - I'm missing them this time around ... but we'll always have Stradbally ;P Is this your first time seeing them live ? Hopefully Vivienne will rock out some fabulous cover on that cello of hers :) !http://lizziegreeneyes.multiply.com/photos/photo/2/44!

  5. debi says I saw him last week in NYC and was amazed how intense, intimate and entertaining he was. He played solo piano under a spotlight, jammed with a great backup band, sang one song without any instruments or microphone (could hear a pin drop in the hall). His band, especially ballsy female cello player really impressed me - crowd yelled asking where Lisa was - and I thought a bit rude when he answered - but perhaps some came not already knowing she wasn't playing with him anymore.

  7. msquared64 says he played "The Professor" when I saw him in Boston this past winter... and he played what he referred to as "the death metal version of 'The Blower's Daughter' .." Death metal indeed, but hilarious... he surprised me how his show kept the crowd involved... I hadn't seen him live before, and it was a Monday night, and I thought that I was gonna fall asleep... I was very, very wrong, and very pleasantly surprised...

  8. Lizziegreeneyes says I didn't know she (Lisa) was no longer singing with him - I guess she felt it was time to go it alone - she a solo show at the EP last year & also performed with the Dublin Gospel Choir - that was the pic I tried to post - but also played with Damo on his big night as well. Glad I caught the last tour of his with Lisa :) debi - The cellist is Vivianne - she's spectacular ! Can't wait to hear all about it blair :)
