WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Quite possibley the best song ever written by a boy about a girl...

I, like most of the rest of the human race, adore this song. The rest of those people I can only assume have been hurt by an Angie at some point in their lives. If that is the case, my heart goes out to you for having such an incredible song ruined for you.I have had the Stones' on HEAVY rotation this week, so I thought I would change it up with the Steophonics version...and it really do love this band, who else could make Rod Steward sound so sincere(see song in video)

  1. goodmusiconly says ah, nice b. The other people who don't like this song are usually named "Angie," ... I always want to sing it to my friend but I know she's gotten it too many times. Same goes for any girl named Roxanne. I always secretly wished there was one for me, alas!

  3. deadmandeadman says Once again you pull out the absolute best song, except that each one of the 234,789,673,005 other times you mention it, its a different song! LOL This IS good, though, I like it.

  4. angeldawn says I am an Angela and never liked being called Angie but this is one of my all-time favorite songs. When I was 18 and went to London on a high school trip, everyone sang this song to me. Never got tired of it. The Rolling Stones version is hard to beat but this Steriophonics one might just move Mick off the playlist. Hope I never ruined it for anyone. Funny thing is my husband, of 20 years, has never mentioned it to me.

  7. Anna says I like Stereophonics, but the song sounds the same as the original but with different vocals; "cover" my ass, Stereophonics, put some creativity into it!
