WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Introducing David Vandervelde

Posted over 2 years ago
David is a new discovery for me. LOVE this song. The vocals have a cool 'ween-like' quality to them, with much more straight forward lyrics. I have been listening this album, The Moonstation House Band all day today. I don't know much else about him, other then he works frequently with Jay Bennett who used to be in Wilco. Give this a spin and leave feedback if you want, don't spare my feelings! I cam curious to hear what you guys think of ot...

  1. Augusts1 says WOW, I'm liking this alot! His vocals kinda remind me of Geddy Lee of Rush & Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction. The music is incredible. I love big crunchy sound like this. It has kinda a Led Zeppelin vibe to it but there's definitely some other influences I can't pinpoint, which is cool cause I like trying to figure out the influences. Thanks, I'll have to check him out further.

  6. NeilNathan says much agreed have you seen that film about him - born to boogie directed by ringo starr they're both wildly high in every scene, it's hilarious, and quite trippy too
