Protest song

When I find myself watching to much CNN, i get angry. So allow me to protest via song if I may...with best protest song I have heard in a long time!OH, and I found out that the Black Angels are coming to Columbus on April 3rd...score!

    SatisfiedMind614 says Hahaha...i am totally crashing and burning, can you tell!! I am still waiting to hear back from the party dream too about South Bend...unless you have heard from them? They are getting all rock star on me! Oh, its horrible here...the city was pretty much shut down the last couple of days...had to go back to work today, but its still no fun trying to get around...were you lucky enough to miss any school this week?

    ChiaraSera says haha, no i haven't heard from them yet, but i just added them to my "artists you should know about" list so maybe that will entice them a little bit (as if the prospects of a crowd of 60 or so in the lamest town ever aren't enticing enough) I'm very happy you got to miss some work, unfortunately for me ND NEVER cancels class so I've had to be on campus all day everyday this week. blah.

One of the lines in that song puts me in mind of a remark by SF author David Drake (a Viet Nam vet like me, but a genuine combat vet) (approximately worded): "If you take a scared nineteen year old kid, give him a gun and put him out on the sharp end where his ass is on the line, then that kid is going to be making your foreign policy for you... "And if you don't like that thought, then you should have thought of it *bnefore* you put him there."
