WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

New World Order

Posted over 2 years ago
I was going to write some epic post about how music can save the world and stuff...but that is so not me...i just want to say that tonight I saw THE most eclectic group of people all getting down to the same sounds in the same way and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I am an out of shape, 32yr old white guy in Ohio, who as a rule doesn't dance anymore. Tonight I danced...and I danced like the entire planet's fate rested upon my dancing! And then I fell off of the stage and probably broke my camera....but whatever.UPDATE - It is now the morning, and in case you were wondering I wasn't joking, I really did fall off of the stage...hahaha. It was such a 'me' moment...The show was at Performance space at an Arts center and it was absolutely insane! I have never been to a DJ set with people stage diving and crowd surfing, there was no security....just these REALLY old ushers who looked so confused. So once the show starts the place just goes nuts and me and about 100 new friends all made it up to the stage....well, after like 45 minutes of pogoing and dancing like a fool i decided to catch my breath...so i went to lean up against the velvet curtain on stage, thinking there was a solid wall behind it...not so much...i fell right on my back...a nice 8ft drop really sobers you up! It was so funny, i wish someone would videotaped it...and i think my Camera is broken, it didn't bounce back as quickly as I did after the fall...i will keep messing with it and hope for the best. NOW BACK TO THE ORIGINAL DROGGED POSTI know I am drunk, and an idealist...but I think that if Greg Gillis(Girl Talk) was the Secretary General of the UN...Earth would be so much cooler!!
