WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Somebody beat me to it!

Posted over 2 years ago
Yay! Someone already made a youtube video for this one...so i didnt have to! And whoever this person was really took this 'That 70's Show Breakup' really hard it seems...Anyway, I think this is the best falling out of love song I have ever heard. NOT break up song, that is different...people who love each other break up all the time for different reasons, and people who can't stand each other stay together for whatever reason...but you can actually hear her falling out of love for the guy she is singing about. As always, the floor is open to your submissions...but I may be the only person bleak enough to have a favorite falling out of love song!

  1. chucky says Oh no you're not. One of my best friends actually gave me Exile in Guysville a few years ago when she was going through a rough time with her boyfriend and told me to listen to Divorce Song. It moved her so much personally that she needed to share it. She also gave it to me again for christmas this year. That's a kind of twisted devotion. Heh.

  2. SatisfiedMind614 says Not sure if I would give this to a happily married woman, but she probably had the best of intentions!

  3. chucky says Haha. I never even thought about it in that context before. I have to tell her about this and see what she says. :) Funnier still though is that this same boyfriend of hers proposed last January. So, the second time she gave it to me she was engaged.

  4. SatisfiedMind614 says Glad to see she stuck it out! It would have been sad to always associate that song with your best friend's breakup

  5. chucky says Yep - because it's just a damn poppy song otherwise. Heh. ;)
