Here is some old school Detroit rock!! As I am typing this the Tigers are beating the Yankees 4 to 0!! Death to the Evil Empire!!Sorry New Yorkers, I love your city....but hate your baseball team!

    slantera says Ahhh, I've been wanting to hear an entire song from this band for some time. Thanks to VH1 showing the top 100 Hard rockers of all time. These guys have to make it to my music library, for sure. As for baseball, I was born and raised loving the Yankees. Despite that, I am rooting for Detroit to make it into the World Series.....so they can lose to the Mets. ;-P It's part of my prediction. I said that the Mets would go all the way and they would face Detroit. Sooooo, I hope they both win and make it to the World Series. No bets were made, though. If money is involved, I always lose. :-( The Yankees winning another World Series would be just like throwing a party with just one person. *yawn*

    SWozniak says Polanco from first to score! This is just embarrassing. The A's are going to give us more trouble, for sure. And the Mets? Yeah...I think it's gonna be pretty even. It'll just depend if we can crank out singles and doubles like we do. We've got power, but we're much better at cranking a string of hits and making them count. Man, I wanna go home!!! I might have to eBay a World Series ticket if we make it...

    slantera says I don't think any team sucks. It is very embarrassing that an owner would spend huge amounts of money on people, that, once they arrive, do not produce. They have such great capabilities when they play for the team they were on, originally. Once they join the Yankees, *POOF*, they don't do anything. Oh well, it's not my money.

    SWozniak says True. I mean, it used to work for them, but it's really quite annoying. The A's are a team that doesn't spend that money, and produces quality. The Tigers spend some money, but never had it click until this year.

    lemontwist says Hey now, New York City has the Bronx and Queens. And Queens has Flushing Meadows Park which has Shea Stadium which is home to the New York Mets. I know the Yankees give our state a bad rep sometimes, but remember that New York is big enough for more than one baseball team. I'm a Mets fan, and overall underdog appreciator. So I rooted for the Tigers. I'm glad they beat the Yankees. However, the Mets are going to kick some serious ass and I hope they're going to make it to the top this year. They're finally starting to turn around and play well for once. :)
