WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Practice my T-Rex moves and make a scene

Sitting here tonight rebuilding my music collection slowly but surely...and i got caught in a major REM mood! And I love REM so its ok...but i got to thinking that 'New Adventures In HI-Fi' was there last really, really good album. Not sure how much that has to do with Bill Berry leaving, or if maybe my tastes have evolved...but still one of the greatest American bands ever!!!b

  1. Viva La Britt says Damn, I still remember the Letterman performance they did of this way back. "Bittersweet Me" from has got to be R.E.M.'s most undervalued single ever. I'd rather be anywhere doing anything...

  4. SatisfiedMind614 says That is an awesome story! Every band I ever saw at a kegger were playing there biggest gig ever!! In other words, they peaked while playing in front of 100 drunken college students...which I would still give a kidney to do!! Its all relative i guess...

  5. aezell says Based on what I saw and heard last night, Bill Berry is recording with the band. Now, that doesn't mean he's working on the whole album or that he would ever tour with them. But, there's still hope. I was reminded, too, that he left in 1997, nine years ago. It doesn't seem that long ago. See my write-up about the show last night here: http://mog.com/aezell/blog_post/13587
