New gadgets

OK...i am still replacing stuff from the fire...and i finally get to buy some fun stuff. So I need suggestions. I am looking to get a digital camera and an mp3 player...I am limiting myself to $250 for each.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...especially with the camera...so MANY to choose from, would love to hear some mog-o-matic reviews!bPSI really am a junkie...i started to panic because i wasnt going to a show this week, so i broke down and bought 'she wants revenge' tickets, just for something to do...i need a 12 step program I think

    Killa says i did ALOT of research before buying my digital camera canons are by far the best, and if you only want to spend 250 i recommend getting the sd450 via amazon, they usually have a package deal with a 1g SD card for like 20 bucks (as opposed to like 80) i had the 450, it got stolen/lost, and opted for the 600, not much of a difference but they're both great, compact, long battery life, and lots of cool settings yep

    lemontwist says I second the Canon recommendation. I've had two Canon digitals, and will buy a Canon dSLR once I get a job and have that kind of money to throw around. I have a A610 and love it as much as I loved my A70.
