A heartfelt plea to all of the UK moggers

Posted over 2 years ago
Will one of you PLEASE come over here and take Beckham back home with you already??I mean I have only been in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks and I am already sick of seeing him all over the tv. And he is totally distracting the LA paparazzi from doing the truly important work...like finding out who or what Britney Spears is kissing these days and what sort of substances Lindsay Lohan is putting into her body. As a show of good faith we will even keep Posh over here...how is that for diplomatic compromise.Thank you in advance

  1. contrabandwidth says How about we send Michael Vick and his pitbulls over (aren't Pitbulls British?) - you know a footballer for a footballer. We'll even let you make any kind of reality series you want with him. Or maybe Becks and he can make a new cross cultural reality series. I'm just thinking of a way for that poor guy to make his $150 million back (Vick). (sarcasm alert).

  2. Charley Rogulewski says HA! Seriously. I knew it was bad wheni was in LA 2 weeks ago getting coffee at Urth Cafe on Melrose and in a store window it said, " David Beckham! This is your new favorite store!" Gnarly. Thank god NYC is spared.

  3. caliscrnwrtr says you think you're sick of becks? i fucking lived in britain and every fucking day it was "becks and posh" this and "beckingham palace" that. they are gods over there. if you took tomkat and brangelina and mushed them together, you still wouldn't even come close to what becks and posh are to the brits. it's crazy, man. but i gotta say, they grew on me a little when i heard paris hilton was trying to be bff's with posh and posh wasn't having it because paris wasn't in her league and that posh thinks paris is totally skeezy. awesome :)

  4. Dale says HAHAHAHAHA ^ That's brilliant! Don't worry B, the next bright and shiny penny will roll by shortly, thus distracting the paparazzi again. Maybe Brit will kiss Lindsay, and you'll get the two-fer. On second thought, ::shudder:::.

  8. NeilNathan says wow, that has got to be a record now the red bulls (what a horrifying development, to be actually named after a product, must be one of the signs of the apocalypse) gotta get someone well known and good to compete with the left coast

  14. naze says Ssh! Dont you see? The only way to get rid of them is to NOT TALK ABOUT THEM! Now you've only INCREASED their power. These evil celebrity mofos thrive on attention - positive or negative - remain apathetic - encourage others to ignore these blatantly vacuous airheads ...

  17. Jonh Ingham says Note to Chucky - his voice now is a couple of octaves below what it used to be in his pre-media training days. That was truly surreal. Blair, we still get him for England national games. That's enough.Let's share the Beckham love around.
