So I feel more like a rockstar than I ever have. While it wasn't a full practice, Craig (our drummer) and I were able to get together the other day and work on a few covers. Now if we can get a definite bassist, and if we can start practicing on weekends so Coz can join us, things will move pretty quickly.I was talking to my friend Steve, and we may be starting a separate band. We want to focus more on the modern end of things (to give you a taste, Craig and I worked on Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting by Elton John and Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue by the Ramones, and Steve and I worked on Talk Shows On Mute by Incubus and In My Head by Queens Of The Stone Age). He and his friend Max may be the two pieces of the one mentioned above, but it may be that there is a style shift.I'm also working on sort of a solo project, Emergency Mittens (name from my love, Andrea) - going to find a music studio program, as it were, or something and record some originals. It may be the only way to do originals for now. And I'm sure this was all terribly interesting to read. Ah well.
