but this one is different! whaa? no ben? its a remix of Nina Simone's "little girl blue." so more of jimmy's shizznit instead.also i heard the next album is goin to be split vocally between ben, jimmy, and jenny lewis, whom did a bunch of background vocals on give up. so its gonna be interesting.and heres a video of all three of them, hard at work. dehydrators, fruit leather, and jimmy looking like the kooky uncle. ABSOLUTLY WHIZ-BANG!

  4. Anonymous says cool ! There's so much stuff he uses. Some equipment I have not heard of and have to do some looking into. My friend has a Rhode Microphone though, and when I saw this I couldn't believe that was all they used to record the album Give Up, it's only like $200 I think, was expecting a $3,000 microphone. Which makes me like them more cause some of it is average equipment, but it still gives them that fresh sound that The Postal Service looks for.

  6. Anonymous says yup! you r right. What kind of equipment do you have ? I have a Yamaha S90 ES, it also has a Music Synthesizer on it, not bad actually. The sound is great but hopefully will be adding a Moog Voyager soon. And send me some of ur music next chance you get, that Thom Yorke- Videotape cover was kicking!!!. I wanted to make it a part of that Thom Yorke post I recently did but didn't know if you'd want that

  8. Anonymous says yes they are pricey! but really great if the music you write is like Postal Service. Actually I just read recently that Jimmy T. just got one and will be using it in the new Postal Service album, exciting! Send me the song k Yeah sometimes it takes some time to know your voice on the microphone, I stuggle with that right now too. I enjoyed it though, thanks many for letting me hear it
