GOODBYE GORILLAZ

Apparently Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn is calling it quits with the cartoon band. He says theyre not going to make any more pop albums! :(However, the fictional band will be starring in a movie directed by Monty Python's Terry Gilliam, and they will also be doing the soundtrack for it. Other then that... arrg.

The Apes will always have a special place in my........ i-tunes library. :) No really, what a let down. Gorillaz are awesome, too bad their calling it quits. thanks for posting this Sam.

  3. Anonymous says Dang It!! :( A soundtrack just doesn't do the trick, another album would. I hope they see the folly of all this and come out with another album, that would patch the heart of this fan real nicely. Isn't Damon Alburn gonna start back up with Blur ? Or is he just getting too old to do the Gorillaz act ?

  5. Anonymous says True. When you have that much talent you have to do something with it, to quit all together would be such a waste of that gift. He's currently probably one of the hardest working musicians in the music business too.
