woot! my sis had her baby at 3.59 AM this mornin'. i am now an uncle. uncle sam.

annie: thank you dear, i will make sure her musical influence doesnt get screwed up :) its funny, the baby shower was yesterday, and once she got home from it her water broke. 2 weeks early!!
aug: ya i just got back from the hospital. cute little thing. she is so good. never cries, no fuss. just chill and mellow. apparently it was painless, my sis didnt shed a tear nor drop a sweat.
deadman: yup! first one in the fam, she said it was so easy she wouldnt mind having another! ...but my other sis is due exactly 3 weeks from now. HAHA
britt: i know, some people have been making fun of me being an 'uncle sam' but i think its awesome. i need a red/white/blue top hat...

The best thing about being an uncle is tht you get to influence the childs life, without being responsible for their upbringing. So you can be the cool, random Uncle who "hangs" with their niece, and exposes them to things, and then drops them back at home. It's like raising kids as a hobbie.

Prediction - give it less then a year, that dog will be lucky if it's fed. A baby can do that to a pet....make it the least important member of the family. But then wait till the baby is past toddler and the dog gets back in, but it's never the same.
youre probably right... but you dont know my sisters love for this dog... XD
