Track:Apologies (The One AM Radio Mix)
i was taking a stroll through my music library the other day and found a zip file in a place where i only put mp3s. it was labeled "ApologiesTheOneAMRadio Remix." i was thinkin, 'what tha? how did that get there?' i opened it nonetheless and out popped this song. its a remix of a james figurine track by... well, The One AM Radio. it got me wondering, do you think people go out of their way to plant friendly viruses? a little parasite of joy that puts good tuneskis on your computer when your sleeping. im guessing i must have found it online somewhere and downloaded it, then forgot that i had it. but still. i can half heartedly dream.
ive never heard of 'one am radio' before, but the song is good. in fact this is one of the first times that ive liked every remix of a certain song more than the original. they put a little indiepop spin to it. in case you havent heard jimmy tamborello (dntel/postal service) as james figurine, heres the cut:oddly enough, he makes it sound more like a remix than anyone else!
