im very indecisive. or am i? ....
yes. yes i am. case in point, last christmas i got a 50 dollar gift card to borders, and it is still burning a hole through my wallet. i go in, find stuff i want, walk around with dvds and cds that i would like, ...and leave empty handed. borders is so freakin expensive and i just want to get my free moneys worth. here are the things i would like at the moment, and if you have any suggestive purchases, do tell.
talking heads - stop making sense (dvd)
ive seen this several times, and i love it. thought it should go in the collection.

metallica - s&m (dvd)
this live concert with the san francisco symphony is still some of my favorite stuff to come out from metallica. im not a metal purist, but i cant think of a better synergy of energy. golly this brings back middle school wrestling memories.

u2 - no line on the horizon (cd)
i would have bought this on release day, but they were sold out. so i may have to order it. ive heard it a few times now on the internets, and im really diggin what i hear.

the IT crowd: first season (dvd)
this has got to be the funniest show ive seen in a very very long time. however the dvd doesnt come out until the end of this month.

Go with the Talking Heads and U2. That will get you pretty close to your $50 without going over. Trust me, I'm an expert of making those gift cards bleed.
On another note, that Depeche Mode boxset ... WANT!

Go for the Metalicca dvd and the WWZ book and if there's any change demand cash back. Those bastards end up stealing millions a year because people leave 55c on a card and never use them again.

laura: unfortunately no, but my friend somehow got her hands on a bunch of episodes on her compy. the show is freakin gold. im hoping we yanks dont try to reboot it like the office and just ship it over.

I vote for 'Stop Making Sense' & have owned a VHS copy of it for along time & want it on dvd. I don't know how many times I've watched it but glad I have it for when the mood strikes.
The U2 cd is really good. Not heard of 'The IT Crowd' but just that clip looks funny. I'm sure youtube has plenty of scenes from it. I don't have any further suggestions for ya though.
