   Sam The Artist says sturgell: we can only hope and pray... annie: actually i kinda disagree with some of it. ive always thought of bands like dashboard confessional as emo. i think people today get emo and screamo confused. the band sunny day real estate was one of the first real emo groups (thus the reason i posted a jeremy enigk track), and they never dressed or looked like the "emo" of today. but whatever, things evolve...

   annieander says I said on dharmachris post that children can't tell sarcasm. The internet makes that also difficult. I was being facicious. Emo is terribly overused, and when you can trace emo back to roots within the post punk scenes, you realize, that most of the current definations of emo just don't work...just like the above video. I get you are not schooling me, we agree....things evolve and they are currently using a very narrow defination of emo.
