as i type, i am listening to chromeo.as i listen to chromeo, i am wearing my cotton-candy blue members only jacket.mtv has shocked me. they have introduced me to... dare i say it? a band! i didnt even realize they played music on there anymore. i thought thats why they made mtv2, that way they could have an entire channel dedicated to ditzy teenagers dating for competition. well, as i flipped through the tube the other night, i noticed chromeo's sound. it caught my ears. they must have a promotional deal with mtv, as they were playing chromeo songs every second they could.its pretty fun music. really like a blast from the past. the album "Fancy Footwork" is glittered up with dance tracks galore. catchy hooks, stadium guitar solos, vocoders up the arse, and the most melodic keys ive heard in a long while. this is a slower track, but i really dig it. the guit solo towards the end really reminds me of something daft punk would drop. so if youre feeling a little retro, cop this.
