"Ripe," is out September on New West.Just read a small report on yahoo, but the guest list is pretty inspired: Mandy Moore: "guests on the track "Birds and Bees," which Lee likens on his blog (http://www.ben-lee.com) to 'Summer Lovin'' from the musical Grease. 'Mandy was very sweet and did her bestOlivia Newton-John for me,' he writes."Benji Madden from Good Charlotte co wrote a songSara Watkins from Nickel CreekBenmont Tench from Tom Petty's HeartbreakersMembers of the band RooneyI love Ben Lee even though I don't have a lot of his music, and this shows he's as inspired as ever. Can't wait to hear it.

  2. SamTheButcher says Someone Posted "Awake" recently, I think I'll digest that fully and let you know if I want more. I'm always hesitant to d/l stuff from favorite artists. I feel guilty that I should be buying it, but I'm so "spending cash poor", ya know? Of course you know, you're a teacher. ;) But I'll let you know. "Catch My Disease" is so goddam catchy...I could probably listen to nothing but that song for a month solid and still be okay with that.

  3. Rawkkiddoh says I dont download anything unless I am going to buy it later on. I stick to that, and have never not gone and bought a cd that I downloaded first. That being said, you really should have Grandpaw Would and Noise Addicts Meet the real you. Both were on the Grand Royal label, which means both are out of print. Grandpaw Would is incredible, lot of accoustic stuff and I think you would like it.
