Police Reunion Ticket Prices (Via Billboard.com)

Posted over 2 years ago
Early exclusive via Billboard.com:"Best Buy is the North American sponsor of the tour. Tickets will be scaled primarily at $225, $90 and $50. Tickets for Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal will go on sale Feb. 17. Other markets, including Boston and New York, will go on sale Feb. 20. Ticketmaster will orchestrate a pre-sale through a newly created Police tour website a few days prior to the general public onsales. It is highly likely that the Police will be the top-grossing tour of 2007"Not too bad. As usual, the service fee will be the assassinator. :)

  1. Dale says Will they at least give free tissues to staunch the blood in the $50 nosebleed seats?

  2. CrashPryor says ...I don't think I can bring myself to do this...I bet they don't even touch anything from Synchronicity...mebbe I'll shoot over to Vegas and see Prince's stage show instead...I keed...I keed...but seriously...they reunite and phone in a performance of "Roxanne"? I hear Eddie Murphy's rendition was better (didn't watch the "Crappys" last night..can wait for the YouTube highlights)...what did you think of the performance...?

  5. SamTheButcher says What did I think? Well, judging from my Prince/Super Bowl love-fest, it should be obvious. :) I posted some comments on Multiply, but I'll sum up. Sting's voice was solid, Stewart's drumming was amazing (dude had a huge grin on his face the whole time), Andy's guitar was...Andy's guitar. The guy is a pro. "Phoned in" was not what I'd call it, but we seem to have differing opinions on such things. ;) So...yeah, I liked it, but I fall firmly into the "fanboy" range. I double-heart-loved their R&R HoF performances, too, which should also come as little surprise. So...when they announce, if they come to Denver, I'll probably look at the $90 seats and see what's what.

  6. CrashPryor says ...thanks Dale...I'm chastened...that was kinda-sorta ok...Copeland's always been a great drummer but have found Sting's latest stuff tough to stomach...ok Sammo, I'll go see the Cops...since you're buying...again: I keed...

  8. SamTheButcher says Where you think they'll play in LA, Crash? Staples? At this point, if there's anyone I'd want to see the show with it's my own personal Doubting Thomas. :D While Sting's enormous ego has let him put out marginal stuff as of late, don't forget, a couple of years ago he did a short "rock" tour as a 3-piece. Had I known, I'd've gone. I just assumed "Sting show - too expensive and all the froo-froo songs" If they play Red Rocks and I can get tix, I'll get you one. You just gotta get to Denver. :D

  9. CrashPryor says Staples will probably where it'd be (which is just a short hop by train for me)...if I had my druthers I'd like to check Beck before them and someone like the Warm Inventions before him (it's my imaginary show-- I like a good mix of talent)...and I'll get you one, you just gotta get to "Floss Angeles"...I might as well check 'em before they disintegrate once again...

  10. SamTheButcher says Sis lives out the 10 - Ontario way, dad's a retired airline pilot (still get some free passes), so me getting out there is pretty easy, actually. :) We'll see what they announce here in a bit.

  14. SamTheButcher says Wow...no CA stop on the first leg! I guess after the break in August, they're going to do overseas stuff (overseas from the US, that is) and then come back at the end of the year. Pepsi Center...I'd prefer they play an outdoor venue in summertime, but seeing Prince at the Can was a great experience, so this should kick ass as well. :)
