X-Clan Return From mecca

Vanglorious - this is protected by the red, the black, and the green --- sissy. The Clan is back and I mean the X variety. These guys took the black and strong message to another level in the 90's. Made up of 4 - Brother J, Paradise, Professor X and Sugar Shaft - X Clan released two albums before they broke up. This is the renuion album and it is solid. The album is a little old school in this modern day world of southern slang and crunk. A welcome refresher for me. I miss conscious hip-hop and this album is abotu smart lyrics as well as funky beats.

  4. MrFrost says vanglorious is something Professor X from the group became noted for saying alot.... he passed away not too long ago. I didnt think this group would ever pop their heads up again.... i havent heard any album reviews for it yet though

  7. annnna says cool, I bet it's better hip hop than what gets played on the 22 bus I take every day through the fillmore neighborhood.
