I consider myself to have a really crappy, well-paying retail job. Its hard to walk away from my earned vacations I get. Every single day I'm subjected to a mentally abusive array of adult contemporary filth. Jewel side by side with Texas, Paula Cole's "I don't Wanna wait" and Paula Abdul's "Rush, Rush." This happens every single day. I must admit that though the bitterly repeated music selection though very oppressive, they do give me about three or four minutes of orgasmic aural pleasure when they shake things up a bit and throw on The B-52's "Rock Lobster" If you come to my work and see me smiling, then its probably safe to say that this song is echoing through the store. Its all 100% pure groove-inducing fun. Especially the animal noises the girls make near the end.

Yep, that's exactly how it is at the mall where I work. They actually did us a favor for a few months by turning the goddamn music way down so we could barely hear it but apparently it's back up. Nothing but Kelly Clarkson and Hoobastank and Sheryl Crow. The only song I like that comes up every so often is John Lennon's 'Mind Games.'
