Rocked musically but low energy..

Santa Barbara Bowl - Sep 25 - The Raconteurs put on a decent show musically but the energy was lacking. I think Jack White mentioned at the beginning that he was not feeling well and it showed. He sat on the drum riser a number of times during the show and just did not have the rock god aura that he had when I saw him a few years ago. Brendan Benson and the rest of the band did a good job of keeping the pace of the show. Numbers were tight, Steady As She Goes was a stand out and rocked, but they only played for about 1.5 hours, tops. They ended their first set an hour into the gig, coming back to play maybe 4-5 tunes. I know it's tough to bring it every night -- bummer the down night was in SB. Not a bad show; I love their stuff but this was just not the show I expected. I'd love to check out another show on the tour...
