Thanks to anyone who voted! Much appreciated. And big props to Dale for doing this last year, because I can tell you, it's pretty hard work this is! (Well, if you're smart and use some sort of calculating program instead of Word it probably is a lot less manual labour...)

Microsoft Access FTW, Stef! I can't believe you did this manually! Despite the efort therein, it's a great list, which should mean much shopping for weeks to come.

alot of meat on this sandwich, and how for only the first 1/2 of the year! I'm happy for Portishead. by the way SA, I never saw it coming...nice kill! I am digging the mix

I didn't participate (it was really too much work for ME to figure out my top 10, let alone compile a mass list...you rock) but I'm shocked how much impact you people have had on my music listening.  Last year, I hadn't even heard of some of the bands in the top 20 or so.  This year, I have listened and enjoyed so many of them already.

Thanks, everyone for the musical education.  I personally think we have incredible taste in tunage.  :)

Good god.  That's some time you have on your hands.  Good work.  Did I miss Alison Kraus/Robert Plant "Raising Sand"?  I didn't vote (I've only heard a couple 2008 albums), but I jsut heard it and it would go on my list.

Damn, bummed out BSP didn't make the top 10. Maybe this year I'll actually be able to participate in Pazz & Jop and Jackin Pop to promote the Sea Power and MOG love.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Again, thanks for participating.

Rawkkiddoh, yeah, that's what you get when you do stuf manually, you'll fuck up from time to time. :P

Dale, I'll try to remember that tip for next time. :) Word is no good, I can tell you that.

Amber, yeah, that's why I did the list. It really shows the influence of Mog. A lot of these bands I hadn't heard of before joining Mog, and a lot of these bands I hadn't heard of until this point.

Yeah Joxley, there were a lot of unique picks. When you have to type them in word manually you'll find out that much all right. :P

Contrabandwidth, be sure to put it on the end of the year list then, maybe others will join you. :)

Tynans, good luck with your BSP promotion. ;)

Neill, wow, 4 of the top 5, impressive!
