The number of songs on my iPod has been hovering in the 9000s for quite awhile. I am now within 47 songs of reaching the elusive 10,000 song mark. I don't know why it's taken me so long. Went to see The Swell Season a couple of weeks ago at the Brown Theatre in Louisville, KY. The Swell Season is Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's band but it's mostly The Frames with Marketa. Just found this super cool, tool for iTunes. It's a free plug in for iTunes that monitors your music library and creates a concert calendar based on the artists you have in your library and your city. It's amazing. I downloaded it and immediately found out about 3 concerts that our lame-ass radio stations had failed to publicize properly. Suh-weet!
