The Sunshine Boy, the most recent film from Icelandic director Friðrik Þór Friðriksson, is a documentary following a mother who embarks on a lengthy journey to find the best help for her 11-year old son, who has severe autism. It received a short release in Iceland at the beginning of the year, and will get its first full international showing at next month's Toronto Film Festival, on the 12th of September.
"Slow-motion rock" superstars Sigur Rós, who recorded two traditional Icelandic songs for Friðriksson's critically acclaimed 2000 film Angels of the Universe, will also contribute material for The Sunshine Boy. The finished film will also feature material from Björk. The English narration for the film's international release will come from Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet (The Reader).

....Thank you for the heads up on this. I so enjoy the small indies.
Can't wait to see it myself; hope it's as good as Werner Herzog's recent documentaries.
