WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Muse's new album tracklisting revealed via Twitter

Posted 5 months ago

The last time English mindfuck-rock trio Muse dropped a record was 2006's Black Holes & Revelations - a record so ridiculously OTT that the definition of OTT had been rewritten altogether, which would have been necessary due to the brilliant 'Knights Of Cydonia' alone. This time, they seem to be trying to redefine 'ridiculous' as well.

The band's new record, The Resistance, will be released in the UK on the 15th of September. Matt Bellamy promised the album to have more orchestral themes than previous Muse albums, and with the track titles that were released via the band's Twitter page today, your head will probably explode just thinking about what these songs sound like:

The Resistance

Uprising
Resistance
Undisclosed Desires
United States of Eurasia (+ Collateral Damage)
Guiding Light
Unnatural Selection
MK Ultra
I Belong To You (+ Mon coeur s'ouvre à ta voix)
Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture)
Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross Pollenation)
Exogenesis: Symphony Part III (Redemption)

Muse will also begin an arena tour of Europe on the 22nd of October in Helsinki. Bring a backup to your existing brain just in case.

    The had been rumours going around the UK for the last couple of months that this was going to be a 3 track album;

    Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture)
Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross Pollenation)
    Exogenesis: Symphony Part III (Redemption)

Good to see they did not go completly OTT
