  1. RGM says I've seen them live 2-3 times, one of the greatist live acts out there!

  2. RobinH says Never got to see them live, which is a pity. Always been a big fan of the early and mid period stuff (up to about Blackout) but lost touch with them a bit after that. This video just reminded me of whe I first got into them, although I think at that time they had just recorded Animal Magnetism, a friend at school had Tokyo Tapes which he used to play non-stop during school study breaks. After that I went out and brought a double-album re-package/re-release on some german label which contained the albums Fly to the Rainbow and In Trance. It was a while before I could find Tokyo Tapes. Eventually tracked down a stall at some local Sunday Market where the guy sold \m/etal albums and patches, thinking about it know he had so much Scorpions stuff, fantastic. Of course am now doing the predictable thing of re-buying stuff on CD. Picked up Taken By Force and Tokyo Tapes on Saturday at a local record/CD fair, actually he had a lot of Scorp's early stuff - but I was restrained, just.

  3. RGM says You were into them in their raw rocking years! I got into them around Animal Magnitism, saw them first on Love at First Sting Tour. Don't let their balad or bad albums throw you off, they are one of the best acts out there...Also Maiden... :)
