Venetian Snares is the main performing alias of Canadian electronic musician Aaron Funk. Funk's label debut was 1999s 12" vinyl EP, Greg Hates Car Culture. Prior to this, he had being self-releasing material on cassette tape since 1992.
Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Funk is known for making avant-garde electronic music often in odd numbered time signatures and using classical samples. A prolific artist, having released records on the History of the Future, Isolate/DySLeXiC ResPonSe, Addict, Zod, Distort, Sublight, Low-Res, Planet Mu and Hymen record labels.

Hi Ray. According to wikipedia, 'the woman singing in an operatic fashion on the track "Dance Like You're Selling Nails" is a musician named Jo App'.
I think this is the most extreme form of music: avant garde, non-melodic, and having all kinds of aspects that most people hate! Therefore I approve :)
Sorry what I meant to say is that I can hear Mike singing on a tune like this. Thanks for the info, she has a great voice.
