Here Comes The Weekend

Here's a shot of Rockpile fun to get your weekend off to a fast start. In my opinion Nick, Dave, Terry and Billy are the greatest good time pub rock band ever! They provided the sound track to my life throughout the late 70's and early 80's. I hear that Dave has recently suffered a heart attack but doing well. It has been a long time since we have heard from him. Does anyone know what Dave is up to these days? Make it a great weekend y'all!

    dermahrk says I thought he had a bypass or something a year or so ago. This is not good news. Big Dave fan here as well. The last I heard about him was a live album I found on iTunes, which I bought some of (the new songs). Think I'll do a web search - I think his website was shut down a while ago. If I find anything out, I'll let you know.

    dermahrk says Wikpedia says he had a quadruple bypass a few years ago (I hope this is the "heart attack" you're referring to), is now semi-retired and living in his native Wales. The website is still gone.

    Robco says Thanks for the update. Hopefully he is enjoying the golden years. He's got to be in his 60's I would think. I found some cool Rockpile videos on You Tube by searching for Nick or Dave. My favorite being an old performance of Trouble Boys from an American Bandstand style TV show. Search videos fro Nick or Dave and you will find a ton of great memories. Peace
