Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga

Yeah, so Pfork likes the new Spoon album. I'm not surprised. Personally, I think it's a good album, but it is over far too quickly for me. However, it is definitely worth a purchase, and I still think Spoon is probably the most consistently good band around. They also never disappoint, when seen in person either.I noticed in an email from House of Blues that they were coming to Dallas on Friday, November 2nd (with The New Pornographers opening!). The email stated that tickets would be available for members on the 13th. However, I went to the site today (the 11th), and they were already on sale! So I picked up two general admission tickets...Will I see you at the show?

  2. Shud33 says Ageed, Spoon is consistant. I am also pleased with Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. So far so good. It's just hard right now to juggle this and Interpol's new album. :/ Ohh..and that should be a good show. Keep us posted on how it was.

  3. Rinserepeat says I actually haven't had a chance to check out the new Interpol yet (other than a few tracks floating around the blogosphere). I'm sure it's good though...I've read in reviews and previews of the album that they've really added a lot to their "sound". I think the lead singer sounds too much like Ian Curtis from Joy Division, but that's not necessarily a bad thing...It works for them...
