'Wall of Sound' Adds More Bricks

Posted over 2 years ago
Holy shit! The 'Wall of Sound' festival in my very own backyard (Ft. Worth, TX) made some ripples in the wave of sonic news last year. A great line-up of bands (including Low, who rarely seem to venture this far south for some reason) converged for several days upon the historic Ridglea Theater.
Well, Pfork reveals in this news post that the 'Wall of Sound' is really bringing it this year. Explosions in the Sky? Check. Midlake? Check. Pinback? Check. The Timeout Drawer? Check. The Books? Check. Ghostland Observatory? Check.
All in all, 40 bands (some yet to be announced) will wreck havoc on Lagrave Field in Ft. Worth on September 22nd this year. Tickets are already available, and I...CANNOT...WAIT...

  2. Rinserepeat says Yeah, unfortunately, 'Wall of Sound' does follow on ACL's heels. At least the festival in Ft. Worth has been trimmed down to one day (albeit with mutliple stages) this year. Who needs sleep, anyway?! ;)
