I love Super Furry Animals, and what I've heard from Gruff Rhys' new solo album is incredible. So I'm super pumped to hear this news that Boom Bip and the SFA frontman are getting together for an entire album of material. I really liked their collaborative effort on Boom Bip's 'Seed to Sun' album.
Now they are working on new material including music with some well known names. According to a post on MySpace by Boom Bip, we can expect the first Neon Neon material to surface sometime around Spring / Summer of this year.The talented producer also revealed that the duo have collaborated with the following bands / artists: Spank Rock, The Magic Numbers, Har Mar Superstar, Yo Majesty, Kudu and Fat Lip.Throw in Spank Rock, Kudu, and the others, and I've officially wet myself.
