I need some help please!! I want to come up with a playlist composed of those artists that are going to be at the Voodoo Music Festival at the end of the month... so I can get to know them... and give my parents a taste of what is to come (YES I am going with my parents!)

I'm asking the Mog community to PLEASE help me come up with the best of these artists: Red Hot Chili Peppers (I have all their cds but would love to hear what people suggest for this playlist!), Duran Duran, Wu Tang Clan, The Flaming Lips, My chemical Romance, Original Meters, Social Distortion, Shooter Jennings, Secret Machines, Kings of Leon, Blue October, Brazilian Girls, Ferry Corsten, Broken Social Scene, Drive-By Truckers, Ozomatli, Yerba Buena, Kinky, Jack's Mannequin, Pete Yorn, The Brand New Heavies, The Rentals, The New Rivals, Mute Math, AM, The Living Things, The Whigs, Joseph Arthur, Otra, Jamie Lidell, Cowboy Mouth & Friends, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Bingo Show, Wardell Quezergue's New Orleans R&B Revue, Fatter than Albert, Kermit Ruffins, Morning 40 Federation, Bodollis & The Wild Magnolias, Tema Thomas, Ellipsis, Marva Wright tribute to Mahalia Jackson, Big Sam's Funkynation, Hot 8 Brass Band, Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Soul Rebels, Terra Diablo, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave., Sam and Ruby featuring Dan Dyer, Ballzack, Amanda Shaw, Rockie Charles, Ernie Vincent, Noomoon Tribe, Worms Union, F.I.S.T, Zydepunks, Ratty Scurvics, Spoonfed Tribe, Ray Bong $ Mad Mike, Six Foot Shallow, The Eyelash Carpets, Nag Hammadi, Pain Tribe.

Bo Dollis & The Wild Magnolias -- "Iko Iko" or "Boys on the Battlefront" if you can find them. You can also get an mp3 of "Herc-Jolly-John" from their site and it's pretty representative of their stuff: http://www.wildmagnolias.net/music/

Seems like an awesome way to check out new music! This week's theme is Alternative... and includes songs by 30 Seconds to Mars, Grandaddy, Cartel, Phoenix, Mates of State, Morningwood, Amusement Parks on Fire, Damone, The Perishers, The Twilight Singers, The Early November, Augustana, Girls in Hawaii, The Rakes, Novatone, Magneta Lane, Maritime, Prototype, Lol Hammond, Chris Stills, Dirty on Purpose, The Movie, My American Heart, Goldfrapp, and Sandi Thom!

If you're like me... and you love the free songs each week on iTunes... because it ives you a chance to check out something new... then this is really cool!
