WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

In Retrospect .....

*I am* here:I am recycling this track. And in light of the posts made today, I feel moved to share with you.

I may go off on to a far out tangent here, but stick with me. Hopefully everything will work out in the end .... hopefully.
I saw Chris (Jesus, It is always weird saying that, for a few reasons, only more so now.) as a puzzle. When I would put together a jigsaw puzzle, one of the most tried and true strategies was to make a frame and solve the puzzle from the outside in.And of course, Chris was just the opposite. He was a puzzle that worked from the inside out. With one, you have the ending, then you are just working your way to the beginning. With the other, who knows? The puzzle may never end. You can complete one part, but then you have a whole new set of challenges to conquer. Like many of us, Chris spoke like he wrote and vice versa. We knew him .....and we will continue to know him. I'm crying and laughing at the same time. Rest in Peace, I say natch! Give 'em hell Chris, and tell it like it is.

  4. Reckon says The fact to which we have got to cling, as to a lifebelt, is that it is possible to be a normal decent person and yet be fully alive. - Allen Ginsberg And that he did without question. The man was a force of nature whose absence leaves a profound void full of questions leading to more questions. Shock is a weak word for such sudden loss, especially when concerning someone so full of youth and the vigor vibe. Thanks eternally for your inspiration and support, Chris.

  7. asrati says I just wish to say that with one way of looking at the situation you have one metaphor, But then if you just turn around a bit, take a look over your shoulder, you see a whole ....other experience, just waiting for your metaphor, to come in and sort of try to fill the void. And then you're there. Stuck. Lookin at the whole thing. All I can say is... Godpeed.
