While Ayers aimed this feel-good record directly at the dance crowd, in 1976 it was heard coming out of passing cars and on apartment stoops as much as in discotheques. A Top 10 R&B and jazz hit, this one still shines with Ayers' liquid vibes and soulful grooves-- a sound that would be much copied, sampled and emulated decades later. - Nick Dedina, Rhapsody
